GBF WOMEN OF GRACE Mission Statement
The GBF Women of Grace is designed to meet the complex needs of today’s woman. Women especially need one another’s encouragement, prayer, and guidance. Our goal is to bring together women of all ages and stages for edification and service opportunities. As women grow and mature in godliness, they are better equipped to nurture and serve in their families, to enrich the church, and to evangelize their communities.
(Titus 2:3-6; 2 Timothy 2:2)
GOALS FOR GBF WOMEN OF GRACE
- Maturity in Christ immediately brings to mind the need for Bible and discipleship studies which contribute to each woman’s spiritual growth and this in turn touching her family.
- Fellowship with one another calls for an understanding of how Christians should relate to each other.
- Service through the church should give a woman the opportunity to identify and use her spiritual gift(s) in ministry to meet needs of individuals in her church and community.
- Sharing Christ grows out of a woman’s personal experience with Jesus and being equipped to share her faith.
- Involvement in missions through study, prayer, giving money, and short or long-term missions reminds women that missions is not optional.
