local family in
need......
What is THE GIVING TREE?
The Giving Tree at GBF is an opportunity to get
involved with giving to a local family who is in need
this Christmas. With your help we can provide a
wonderful Christmas for a family in Gunter!! The family
is a family of four, with two children (5yr/boy and 3yr/
girl). Names of the family have been protected.
Gunter ISD will deliver the gifts to the appropriate
family!
How it works.....
GBF will have a Christmas tree set up in the
sanctuary this Sunday with several paper ornaments
on it. The paper ornaments will have specific items
for each family member. You can take the ornament
this weekend and bring back the item, wrapped and
with ornament label, attached by NEXT weekend.
The Ornaments....
The Ornaments will have specific items
in which each family needs, along with a
few fun stuff too. Specific sizes will be
provided. **Please keep in mind that all
clothes must follow GUNTER ISD
Gunter ISD Dress Code:
Clothing can not have words or lettering other than a
quarter brand label. Gunter T-shirts and sweatshirts
are great. Caps, hats, mittens and socks would be
good. Plain pants such as jeans and cotton twill.
Hooded, zipped up coats are always good this time
of year, as well.
IMPACT 252 Mission Money...
IMPACT 252 will use the extra money funds for this
month to provided gifts, as well.
Deadline:
All gifts need to be dropped off by December 17th.
